Hello my name is Ryuki (just a nickname), I’ve worked in the Visual Kei scene in America helping promote and bring bands over to the US. I’ve written articles and worked with magazines such as CHU / GAKU-X later becoming CURE USA. I decided to create this magazine with hopes of bringing JPOP fans something new and interesting to read. My Jiyaku is a website dedicated to providing people with the news, reviews, and the like on Japanese pop culture. I decided to use the word, ” じやく” (Jiyaku) meaning, “One’s daily medicine”. Currently, this is the web-zine website to promote the project, I hope to turn this into a published magazine.
